As a parting gift, Luca di Montezemolo gave Felipe Massa the engine that powered his Ferrari in 2008, the year in which Massa came within one point of winning the World Championship. That should look nice in his living room.

To be honest, Felipe has had a wonderful career at the Scuderia. They took care of him and held his seat while he fought for his life after being hit in the FACE by a spring. The amount of development done at the end of the season for a former #2 driver made him World Champion for 30 seconds.

I'm glad that he is not bowing out and I think he will do a lot of good for the Williams team by mentoring Bottas and having the experience to steer the team in the right direction. I hope we haven't seen the last of the competitive Felipe Massa.
